At Powell Chiropractic Clinic, Inc., we offer a comprehensive array of services that support the Seven Essentials to Health & Wellness. While our first floor is dedicated to chiropractic and our second floor is dedicated to our Health & Wellness Department. At our Health and Wellness Department, we can address areas such as digestive or hormonal issues that may be contributing to health problems.

To complete our wellness care, we also have a full-spine Rehabilitation Center featuring MedX equipment. It’s here where we talk to patients about strength, fitness and being active. We work with patients to create specialized programs to increase their muscle function and strength.

The Seven Essentials to Health & Well-Being

#1 Structure Affects Function

The structure of the body affects its function. Body posture and alignments are important to keep the energy flowing in the body. We’ll show you how to recognize postural balance in yourself and others.

#2 What You Eat and Drink

Eating the foods most appropriate to your body type and how your body metabolizes that food is fundamental to weight management. Also, are you getting the right amount of water? How much is necessary? What type of water is best?

#3 Digest – Assimilate – Eliminate

Most everyone that has constant digestive and/or elimination problems is overweight due to their body’s inability to digest food, assimilate nutrients, and then eliminate its waste.

#4 Balanced Hormone System

It is necessary to understand the endocrine system and how sex hormones, insulin, thyroid, and the adrenals affect your daily health.

#5 Exercise

To burn calories, remove waste and improve circulation, exercise is essential to health. Finding the correct method for each individual will provide the most benefit.

#6 Stress Management/Self Help

Understanding the three primary causes of stress (physical, nutritional/chemical and emotional), then learning the most effective methods of dealing with stress, including how to relax and enjoy better sleep, will improve your health.
